Eclectic South African house music group, Batuk bring you Dahomey Warrior EP , an impassioned ode to the iconic female warrior tribe of Benin. The song is a quirky no-nonsense dance-floor stomper driven by Batuk's signature Afro drumming and an infectious bassline. Over the next 6 months, Batuk will release a series of maxi-singles paying tribute in song, to great women of African history, the brave Dahomey Warrior is the first.

Vocalist/songwriter Manteiga and producer Spoek Mathambo form part of the renowned South African electronic music collective, BATUK, which was founded in 2015, and has released two albums, Musica da Terra (2015); and Kasi Royalty (2017).
