BLACSWET is a collaboration between French electronic music producer The Imposture (known for their work with Grems and Hustla) and South African songwriter and producer, Spoek Mathambo. This collaboration effortlessly blends experimental hip-hop, throbbing electronic music and cathartic songs of heartbreak.

The cross-continental collaboration came up from a chance meeting and mutual respect, and has blossomed through 100s of file transfers, emails and chats. Both artists enjoy using the BLACSWET vehicle as an experimental outlet for their creativity. In the world of BLACSWET there are no rules, only ways in which to defy them.
